Bulletproof

Thorough Quality Control ensures Control Center is bulletproof when installed. It won’t crash, freeze, present strange error messages, or fail to function as designed.

IndigoVision offer guidance too, free of charge, so can assist in setting up your bulletproof system in the beginning.

Architecture

Distributed Network Architecture (DNA) ensures no single point of failure.
Using Control Center with DNA ensures your system:

  • Is robust and always operational
  • Minimizes bandwidth and latency
  • Is resilient over disparate networks
  • Has a reduction in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Flexible

Control Center’s scalability is unlimited:

  • There is no limit to the number of users, workstations, cameras, recorders, sites, video walls or 3rd party system integrations
  • Product licenses are stored in a License Server pool and they aren’t associated with a specific device
  • Video, alarm, and event handling are limitlessly configurable to your preferences
  • Control Center utilizes open standards like ONVIF, RTSP and OPC

Fault Tolerance

Control Center, in addition to the native fault tolerance provided by DNA, addresses many potential fault scenarios with solutions to ensure maximum uptime. This includes, but is not limited to, site database secondary backup, NVR failover and redundant power supplies and network interfaces.

SMART.core™ Hardware Efficiencies

Using IndigoVision’s “SMART.core™” hardware in Control Center you have the ability to:

  • Utilize up to 25% less bandwidth and storage over competitor devices while using H.265 and streaming at full frame rate
  • Reduce bandwidth and storage by an additional 50% as a result of Activity Control Framerate (ACF)
  • Reduce system cost by reducing the number of Network Video Recorders required to store video footage

Ease of Installation

Control Center installs in minutes. A 1,000 camera system can be configured in the shortest possible time by using tools like our ‘Visible Devices’ camera discovery tool and bulk configuration.

Ease of Use

Control Center is designed to be easy to use and intuitive for all levels of operators, while requiring minimal training and support. Customers can get Control Center up and running even before formal training has been delivered.

Existing 3rd Party Software Integration

Due to our vast experience in enterprise installations, we’ve developed many integration modules for systems commonly found in the industry in a variety of areas including access control, intrusion detection, perimeter detection and many more, that can be integrated into Control Center.

IndigoVision’s Software Development Kit (SDK) allows an in-house developer, a 3rd party system manufacturer, or development partner to develop the right integration for you if we don’t already have it.

Forensic Search and Review Features

Control Center has many great features that are perfect for forensic search and review, these include:

  • 128x rewind or playback
  • Thumbnails generated by time, motion, alarm, or bookmark
  • Configurable motion search
  • Audio search
  • Storyboard export
  • Dual watermarking
  • The ability to export from an export while maintaining watermarks
  • The fastest export speed found in the industry

Data Management

Control Center is open. Data from virtually any external system can be brought into Control Center for display to the operator, or associated with recorded video for later review and search. This includes, but is not limited to, search with LPR, POS and Perimeter Detection systems. Web pages can also be incorporated into Control Center and maps can be used to show devices and alarm status at a glance.

  • Construct video walls using any PC monitors e.g. CRT, Plasma, LCD, HD TV
  • Controlled using standard CCTV keyboards or Control Center
  • Supports SD, HD and higher resolutions up to 20MP
  • Display video, maps and alarm video
  • Dynamically change the pane layout of a monitor

IP Video Wall

Using IndigoVision’s IP Video Wall software, a video wall can be constructed using slave workstations, each of which displays up to 100 panes of video across four monitors. The video wall is controlled over an IP network by an unlimited number of master workstations. Large video walls are constructed using as many Slaves as necessary. The video wall is managed from Master Control Center workstations through a standard CCTV keyboard or Control Center. Monitors within the video wall can be used to display a variety of information; Video, Salvos, Maps, Alarm Video.

IndigoVision. A truly open solution – Camera; Alarms; Access Control. It’s all completely integrated.

Security. It’s not just about CCTV. There are alarms, access control and other additional components in your system. At IndigoVision, we understand that these components work better when integrated into your CCTV system. That’s why IndigoVision has the most open system in the market. All of IndigoVision’s management and recording solutions completely support ONVIF encoders and cameras, but sometimes people have legacy cameras that are seen to be undesirable by modern management and recording solutions. With Camera GatewayTM, you can fully integrate your legacy IP camera hardware into IndigoVision’s Control Center and Network Video Recorders (NVRs). If you need to integrate with a system that is not already covered by our Integration Modules, don’t worry our Software Development Kit (SDK) has that covered. If the additional system is software based, IndigoVision’s Integration Modules enable incorporation of most of the leading access control manufacturers, as well as other software systems into one solution.

The IndigoVision Camera Gateway

enables cameras from a range of other manufacturers to be connected to the IndigoVision Control Center suite. It takes video streams from other manufacturers’ cameras using their native protocols and integrates them into the Control Center front-end application. Camera Gateway™ also supports audio, PTZ control, events and outputs. The cameras do not need to support ONVIF in order to connect to the IndigoVision system, giving customers a wide choice of cameras to integrate. Camera Gateway™ is a software service that can be installed on a Windows server, giving total flexibility. The service enables multiple clients to stream video from the same camera, whilst only requiring a single stream from the camera to the Camera Gateway™.

  • Live video streaming MJPEG, MPEG-4 or H.264
  • PTZ control
  • Audio receive
  • Dual Streaming – select different profiles for live viewing and recording
  • Events and outputs

The IndigoVision Video Stream Manager (VSM)

enables cameras from a range of other manufacturers to be connected to the IndigoVision Control Center suite by using the industry standard RTSP protocol. The VSM also provides powerful and integrated enterprise management of ultra-high resolution JPEG2000 video from Ultra 5K cameras. The VSM is a software service that can be installed on a Windows server, giving total fl exibility. The service enables multiple clients to stream video from the same camera, whilst only requiring a single stream from the camera to the VSM.

  • Integrate a variety of third party cameras
  • Live video streaming
  • Supports up to 1000 RTSP cameras per server
  • Supports IndigoVision’s Ultra 5K cameras

Software Development Kit

The IndigoVision Software Development Kit (SDK) allows software developers to integrate third party applications with the IndigoVision IP Video and Alarm Management System. Available to Authorised Partners free of charge, on the IndigoVision Product CD* SDK consists of six components:
  • IndigoVision Binding Kit – Integrate events and alarms with third party systems (e.g. access control systems, alarm management systems)
  • Custom Objects – Create new functionality within the Control Center front-end application
  • Control Center Automation Interface – Interact programmatically with the Control Center front-end application
  • IndigoVision Snap – Automatically take snapshots at configurable intervals
  • Control Center Site Database SDK – Create applications that can retrieve information from a Control Center site database
  • Control Center Video SDK* – Integrate video from an IndigoVision system into third party applications

IndigoVision Integration Module Matrix

IndigoVision’s Integration Modules integrate third party systems such as access control and intruder detection systems with Control Center, IndigoVision’s complete suite of management software. The modules allow a fl ow of events between IndigoVision and the external system in a totally seamless fashion to deliver a fully integrated security solution. Third party events can trigger a wide range of actions within the IndigoVision system including starting recordings, displaying live video, moving PTZ cameras and sending notifi cation emails. Some third party systems can also receive events from IndigoVision.
